A broad range of Clea Vend connectivity options means a greater number of vending operators worldwide can benefit from having real-time operational data at their fingertips.
SECO has introduced its Clea Vend telemetry platform, featuring a comprehensive range of connectivity options that will enable a broad spectrum of vending operators to reduce costs and increase revenues.
Clea Vend offers a cloud-first platform designed for vending machine refilling and management. It provides real-time monitoring, sales analysis, error management, and operational efficiency for vending machines.
The new telemetry solution comes with multiple connectivity options
It can be enabled through direct integration with SECO's KarL4 contactless payment terminals, already rolled out on over 150,000 devices, which act as an interface for data collection. This information can be transformed into actionable insights, including automatic alerts for machine failures, sales and transaction analytics, and smarter proposals for inventory and replenishment, thereby preventing revenue losses and reducing costs.
Vending machine operators can also access Clea Vend telemetry services independently of SECO’s payment solutions. Connectivity is also available through the SECO Datalogger, which can be retrofitted to any machine deployed in the field, or through a standardised API, either cloud-to-cloud or directly from the machine if integration is enabled. These new options enable a broader range of vending machine operators to benefit from real-time data insights, helping them streamline refilling operations to reduce logistical overheads and enhance revenues.
Clea Vend is also available as part of SECO’s Integrated Payment Solutions for OEMs, which combine SECO’s Modular Pay Mini with Nayax’s versatile payment platform. This integration allows businesses to deliver seamless and secure payment experiences while enabling remote machine management and AI-driven business intelligence.
“Clea Vend telemetry services can work equally effectively with or without contactless payment terminals,” says Martin Duemling, Senior Product Manager Payment at SECO. “The easily integrated datalogger and API connectivity options make our telemetry solutions genuinely accessible, meaning a greater number of vending operators can benefit from having real-time operational data at their fingertips.” Martin Duemling adds: “SECO is committed to providing modern and accessible approaches to connectivity, analytics and payment in vending, using cloud-first platforms with data security and compliance built in.”
Clea Vend will initially be available in Europe before being extended worldwide. The launch of the telemetry platform cements SECO’s position as a provider of end-to-end integrated solutions, analytics, and payment, encompassing data orchestration, IoT security, AI enablement, telemetry, payments, and retrofit HMI.
