Voting machine for local elections in a Latin American country

The customer was requiring a Qseven module based on the Intel Apollo Lake processor family. Custom BIOS customisation was involved to meet the government's stringent security mandates. Minor heatsink modifications were also necessary. A challenge was the set time frame: there was less time until series production than usually required for comparable projects.

Using parallel development, we were able to customise the standard BIOS of a Qseven module and the heatsink in a very short time. After placing the order, SECO managed to go into production with the modules very quickly.

All requirements were met and the customer has chosen SECO as a technology partner for upcoming projects.
