What challenges we faced
Design a portable, lightweight, but rugged handheld device used by soldiers to detect radio frequency transmissions. Provide higher performance and longer production lifespan than the existing device.
What we did
Designed the internal electronics featuring an ARM microprocessor, Windows CE operating system, and rugged enclosure – incorporating a 5” LCD with resistive touchscreen. Completed MIL-SPEC qualification test.
Results we achieved
The upgraded device was successfully deployed.
