Among the innovations presented this year at embedded world Exhibition & Conference, SECO will be showcasing its two products based on AMD Ryzen™ Embedded V1000 processors, i.e. the COMe-B75-CT6 and the UDOO BOLT. Based on AMD "Zen" CPU and "Vega" GPU in one single SoC, these products stand out for their leading-edge security, support for 4K displays and VP9 decode and scalability, ranging from 12W up to 54W.
The COMe-B75-CT6 is a COM Express™ Compact 3.0 Type 6 Module ensuring top performances thanks to the x86 "Zen" Core CPU and the elite "Vega" GPU. When it comes to graphics, it features an AMD Radeon™ Vega GPU with up to 11 compute units and support for DirectX® 12. As the icing on the cake, it can drive up to 4 independent displays at the same time. When it comes to connectivity, the COMe-B75-CT6 equips 4x USB 3.0, 8x USB 2.0, 4x PCI-e x1 Gen 3 and PEG x8 Gen 3. Finally, the module embeds two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots supporting DDR4-3200 ECC memory. The product is perfect for biomedical and medical devices, digital signage & infotainment, and gaming.
The UDOO BOLT, on the other hand, is a next-generation single-board computer for makers, funded on Kickstarter with over $600,000 by over one thousand contributors worldwide, mounting an AMD Radeon™ Vega 3 GPU or an AMD Radeon™ Vega 8 GPU, depending on the model. Multimedia-wise, the board supports DirectX® 12, OpenCL, OpenGL, Vulkan®.
The UDOO BOLT comes with Gigabit Ethernet and an Arduino Leonardo-compatible microcontroller, with 12x analog inputs and up to 23x digital I/Os. This SBC embeds 2x SO-DIMM slots supporting up to 32GB dual-channel 64-bit DDR4, with 2400 MT/s and ECC support.
All in all, the UDOO BOLT is ideal for gaming, multimedia, robotics, interaction design, IoT, computer vision, and artificial intelligence applications.
From 26 to 28 February 2019, the embedded world Exhibition & Conference, the leading international fair for embedded systems, is coming to the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, Germany. SECO, a renowned company in electronic embedded solutions and a proud, long-time exhibitor at the fair, has put everything in place to showcase the latest additions to its product range to the tens of thousands of expected visitors.
With a much larger stand than in previous years, in addition to its complete solutions for the industrial domain and IoT, for the very first time SECO will also host the UDOO product line and applications for makers, educators and IoT designers: SECO is happy to welcome visitors to stand 1.330 at embedded world 2019.
